Job summary

Medical City Weatherford is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to coordinate patient meal preferences and orders within our Food & Nutrition team. This on-site role emphasizes patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and excellent service to patients, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and healthcare experience; food handler/SERV Safe certification is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food Handlers or SERV Safe Certification preferred (90-day grace period after hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.
• Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Participate in training with other members of the Food Service department staff to further develop/advance within the industry.
