Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Room Service Ambassador to support hospital food service operations. The role involves cleaning, serving in retail and patient areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, and dish/ware washing.

You will ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), and Servesafe/Food Handler certification or local license

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Servesafe Food Handlers certificate or local Health Department license preferred.
• Previous customer service or food industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of kitchen and related food service tasks such as cleaning, serving in retail and patient areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, dish and ware washing.
• Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation according to federal and state guidelines.
• Adheres to hospital policies for information management insuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of data.
• Ensures compliance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines of federal, state regulatory agencies.
