Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL, is seeking a dedicated food service associate to guide patients through meal orders, verify tray accuracy, and deliver meals per therapeutic diets. You will round on patients and nursing staff to address concerns and support service recovery, while maintaining a clean, compliant work area.

Responsibilities include assembling trays to diet guidelines, ensuring timely service across patient areas, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in food service.
• Ability to communicate with patients and staff in English.
• Ability to use basic computer devices (iPad, ToughBook).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the meal ordering process using a computerized diet office system.
• Verify patient identifiers during meal delivery and ensure tray accuracy.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to resolve foodservice concerns and improve scores.
• Assemble and deliver trays according to therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment; work long shifts as needed.
