Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Catering to You Associate to help patients with menu selections and work with our Food and Nutrition Department to cater to dietary needs.

You will collaborate with clinical staff to ensure nutritious, satisfying meals while delivering high-quality patient service in a team-focused hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and current patient information on assigned unit(s).
• Assists Dietitian with monitoring patients on various diets and reporting diet understanding.
• Adapts to physician-ordered diets and ensures timely meal service.
• Assists patients with menu selections and assembles meals on trays with the Nutrition Department.
• Delivers and picks up meal trays and communicates patient-related issues promptly.
• Performs other duties and adheres to organizational standards.
