Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with the Food and Nutrition Department to assemble meals.
• Support diet restrictions and communicate patient needs to the Dietitian or Diet Technician.
• Monitor and document patient dietary intake and adherence to prescribed diets.
• Deliver and collect meal trays, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Report patient/resident concerns to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain updated patient information on assigned units.
• Support additional duties as assigned by the department.
