Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Spring Hill, FL is hiring for a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) on a full-time and part-time basis. The role supports patient meals on assigned units, from menu selection to tray delivery.

You will prepare meals, coordinate with nursing and culinary teams to meet dietary restrictions, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed. Training is provided, with uniforms and shift meal discounts offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills required.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and deliver in a timely manner.
• Maintain tray tickets and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Follow HACCP, HIPAA, and safety guidelines in daily operations.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on specific diets.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
