Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks temporary Patient Dining Associates at MUSC Charleston in Charleston, SC. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure meals meet dietary requirements with accuracy and timeliness.

The role involves rotating weekends, AM/PM shifts, and training is available. Prior dietary aide experience is preferred, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain hygiene standards in food service areas.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
