Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a part-time shift at Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on assisting with patient meals, menu selections, and ensuring accurate timely service in a hospital environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of patient dining experience, English literacy, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous patient dining experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary needs are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate records.
