Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Assist in determining menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays from patient rooms on schedule and accurately.
