Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Austin, Texas is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time shifts at Texas Children's Hospital North Austin. You will help patients with menu selections, assemble, deliver and pickup meals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Manage tray tickets and ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and health/sanitation policies in the facility.
