Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks Patient Dining Associates to support meal service in a healthcare setting. You will assist patients with menu selections, prepare and deliver trays, and collaborate with nurses and kitchen staff to meet nutritional requirements. Roles include scheduling shifts that vary and some weekends/holidays.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour. This is a full-time and part-time opportunity with benefits; prior hospitality or customer service

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals, manage tray tickets and deliver/pick up trays on time and accurately.
• Adhere to HIPAA, HACCP, safety, and sanitation policies and guidelines.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on specific diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Follow department infection control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
