• Location: Stafford Hospital - 101 Hospital Center Boulevard, Stafford, VA 22554 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Customer service experience required.
• Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work in healthcare settings, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with menu choices and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and deliver trays as scheduled.
• Follow regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians with patient monitoring for special diets.
• Report problems or concerns promptly.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push carts.
