PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Join Morrison Healthcare as a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE and make a difference in patient care and community health.

Job Details

• Location: WakeMed Raleigh - 3000 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27610
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may vary. More details provided during interview.
• Requirements: Prior food service or customer service experience required.
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are met.
• Coordinate with nursing and culinary teams to manage food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals accurately, and deliver trays to patients timely.
• Comply with all health, safety, and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and HACCP guidelines.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets and report any concerns promptly.
• Complete required documentation and reports as per policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.
