• Location: SJMC - 7601 Osler Drive, Towson, MD 21204 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 8:00 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Food service experience required.
• Pay Rate: $18.20 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu selections, meal assembly, delivery, and tray pickup. They ensure meals meet safety and satisfaction standards, delivered accurately, timely, and at proper temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
• Coordinate with nursing and culinary staff on menu options for special dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays efficiently.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, infection control policies, and assist dietitians as needed.
• Communicate patient concerns promptly and complete required reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
