• We are hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE DIETARY AIDE positions.
• Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus - 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time. Days may vary with one 6-hour shift, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm or 6:45 am - 6:45 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 1 year of food service and customer service experience required.
• Perks: $750 sign-on bonus paid out half at 90 days and the remaining half at 180 days!
• Pay Range: $15.65 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays timely.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate concerns promptly and complete required reports.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
