Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates assist on hospital units by helping patients select menus, assemble, deliver, and retrieve meal trays. They ensure meals are accurate, timely, and meet safety and satisfaction goals.

Essential Duties include:

• Assisting patients with menu choices and coordinating with nursing for dietary needs.
• Managing tray assembly and delivery according to patient selections.
• Adhering to regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Following HACCP guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Supporting dietitians with patient monitoring related to diets and nutrition.
• Reporting issues promptly and completing required documentation.
• Complying with health and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and push carts.
