Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Patient Dining Associate for a full-time rotating schedule. You will serve patient meals on assigned units and relay dietary concerns to Food & Nutrition Services, collaborating with Nursing on nutrition needs.

You’ll assist the dietitian with monitoring patients on various diets and record food intake for intake analysis, contributing to quality patient care in a Magnet-designated hospital.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required.
• Experience in food service or allied health settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient meal service on assigned units.
• Communicate patient food issues to Food & Nutrition Services and coordinate with Nursing on nutrition needs.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.02 - $26.54 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
