Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham, AL is hiring Patient Dining Associates on a full- and part-time basis. Work shifts span from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with the fixed pay rate of $14.00 per hour. You will assist patients with menu choices and meal tray delivery to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet dietary requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble, deliver and retrieve meal trays on time and in accordance with orders.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as outlined in policies.
