Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Experience in customer service or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient food service on assigned units, including tray assembly and delivery.
• Take patients' menu selections prior to meals and ensure diet restrictions are followed.
• Offer alternatives within prescribed diets and respect allergies, cultural, and religious preferences.
• Coordinate with Nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and patient needs are met.
• Perform tray pickup after meals and assist with tray sorting and restocking as needed.
• Support dietitian with monitoring patients on special diets or calorie counts.
