Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary rules are followed.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu options for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted or special diets.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
