Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, Missouri. We welcome full-time and part-time applicants who want to make a difference for patients, families and the local community.

Training is provided, and schedules vary depending on unit needs. In this role you will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accurate timing and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills are required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to each patient’s selections and schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation policies; ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
