Job summary

DelRicht Research in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Patient Coordinator to deliver an excellent patient experience while supporting accurate study execution. The role involves coordinating visits, communicating with patients and clinical teams, and helping ensure protocol adherence.

• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a decisive, solutions-oriented approach to fast-moving or uncertain situations

• A collaborative, patient-focused mindset
• Must be comfortable learning clinical skills (blood draws, EKGs, vital signs, charting) and conducting patient visits at our outpatient research clinic

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent patient experience while driving accurate, efficient study execution
• Ensure patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with adherence to trial protocols and site expectations
• Support patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment activities with follow-through
• Guide patients through the study journey to help ensure attendance and completion of required visits
• Enter clinical and visit data timely and accurately into required systems and documentation platforms
• Maintain clear, timely communication with patients, physicians, and other stakeholders

We’re looking for a quick learner, confident communicator, and independent team player who adapts well to change. Candidates with experience in working with people through customer service, healthcare, sales, hospitality, or other fast-paced professional environments may bring highly transferable skills to this position. Previous research experience is not required!

Overall, the Patient Coordinator is responsible for delivering an excellent patient experience while driving accurate, efficient study execution, ensuring:

• Patients have a positive, professional, and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with close adherence to clinical trial protocols and site expectations
• Patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment activities are supported with a strong focus on follow-through
• Patients are guided through the study journey to help ensure they attend and complete required visits

Job Type: Full-Time, 40+ hrs

Base Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Total Annual Compensation Potential: through the Quarterly Bonus Plan, annual earnings are estimated at $55,000-$65,000. Total compensation is not guaranteed pay; bonuses are earned quarterly dependent upon an employee's performance and productivity.
