Job summary

DelRicht Research in Gulfport, Mississippi, seeks a Patient Coordinator to deliver an excellent patient experience and drive precise study execution. The role involves working closely with patients and clinical teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

We offer a 40+ hour workweek, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, onsite, with a base salary of $50,000–$55,000 and total annual compensation potential of $55,000–$65,000 through a Quarterly Bonus Plan. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a decisive, solutions-oriented approach to fast-moving or uncertain situations.
• High attention to detail and ability to stay organized across competing priorities.
• Ability to quickly learn protocols, systems, and clinical workflows.
• A collaborative, patient-focused mindset.
• Must be comfortable learning clinical skills (blood draws, EKGs, vital signs, charting) and conducting patient visits at our outpatient research clinic

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent patient experience while driving accurate, efficient study execution.
• Ensure patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently per protocols.
• Support patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment with follow-through.
• Guide patients through the study journey to ensure attendance and completion of required visits.
• Enter clinical and visit data timely and accurately into required systems.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, physicians, and stakeholders.

We’re looking for a quick learner, confident communicator, and independent team player who adapts well to change. Candidates with experience in working with people through customer service, healthcare, sales, hospitality, or other fast-paced professional environments may bring highly transferable skills to this position. Previous research experience is not required!

Our clinical trials provide new treatment options for our patients and ultimately our goal is to get new medications and medical devices FDA approved! Overall, the Patient Coordinator is responsible for delivering an excellent patient experience while driving accurate, efficient study execution, ensuring:

• Patients have a positive, professional, and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with close adherence to clinical trial protocols and site expectations
• Patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment activities are supported with a strong focus on follow-through
• Patients are guided through the study journey to help ensure they attend and complete required visits
• Clinical and visit data are entered timely and accurately into required systems and documentation platforms
• Patients, physicians, and other stakeholders receive clear, timely communication

Base Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Total Annual Compensation Potential: through the Quarterly Bonus Plan, annual earnings are estimated at $55,000-$65,000. Total compensation is not guaranteed pay; bonuses are earned quarterly dependent upon an employee's performance and productivity.
