Job summary

Rhode Island Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics in Sutton, MA seeks a friendly Patient Coordinator to greet families, manage check-in/out, schedule appointments and answer questions with empathy while supporting front-office operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical front-office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage accurate patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind patients of appointments
  • Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist patients and families with scheduling questions and general office needs
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing and financial questions
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and information
  • Support efficient patient flow and communicate with the clinical team regarding scheduling or patient needs
  • Help create a positive and comfortable experience for children, parents, and caregivers
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and other applicable privacy requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
  • Support the team with additional administrative responsibilities as needed
  • Travel between the Coventry and East Greenwich locations as needed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

As a Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for patients and families. You will support the front office by coordinating appointments, assisting with patient check-in and check-out, answering questions, and working closely with the clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow.
