Job Description

The Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing patient appointments, answering patient inquiries, and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. The Patient Coordinator will work closely with healthcare providers to provide optimal service for all of our patient needs.

Location: Newark, OH

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in person or over the phone
  • Answering calls politely and maintaining proper phone etiquette
  • Registering new patients and updating existing patient information in the EHR system
  • Managing patient flow and communicating with patients and staff about delays
  • Stocking medical supplies and maintaining the reception area
  • Following HIPAA guidelines
  • Managing faxes, voicemails, and outbound referrals
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good listening skills and confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Dependability and a positive personality

Physical Requirements:

  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
  • Visual acuity for close and distant vision

Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends. Occasional travel to other locations.
