Job description

Sanova Dermatology is currently searching for a professional, enthusiasticPatient Coordinatorfor our busy Steiner Ranch dermatology office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients with a smile and a positive attitude.
• Check-in/check-out all patients for Sanova Dermatology by obtaining accurate and up-to-date demographic and insurance information at each patient visit.
• Verifying patient insurance benefits
• Answer the telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
• Accurately relay messages from patients to clinical staff.
• Must be willing to learn cosmetic products and procedures.
• Keep waiting area clean and neat at all times.
• Must exercise the utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients.
• Acts as a liaison for the patient and the practice.
• Communicate verbally in person or over the phone, and in writing via messaging system or email.
• Performs all duties and services in full compliance with Sanova Dermatology Core Values.

Employment Standards

• High school or GED
• (1) year of clinical front desk experience.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
• General understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency in computer software use, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Having worked with the EMA system a plus.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
