Job summary

Powers Health is hiring a part-time Patient Guidance Attendant for valet services at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. Hours are 1-5p, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays and holidays, totaling 20 hours per week and a half-time equivalent.

Greet patients, provide exceptional guest service, and support patient transportation while ensuring safety and timely arrivals. Strong English communication and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets department requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have held a driver's license for at least one year.
• Must be able to speak, read and write standard English.
• Ability to understand instructions and communicate with patients and staff.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide legendary guest service and patient care for individuals entering or exiting the entrances.
• Practice safety standards while parking/retrieving, escorting, transporting, and interacting with guests and visitors, to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Be knowledgeable of the different areas on the property and understand the importance of getting the patient there on time.
• Provide the best possible service while parking vehicles or escorting visitors to their desired locations.
• Expedite parking, secure vehicles and maintain the overall cleanliness of the area.
• Ensure the area is stocked with wheelchairs and all supplies needed to provide flawless service.
