Henry Ford Health is seeking a Part Time Patient Registration Representative (28 hours/week) to serve as the welcoming front door for patients. You will manage patient registration, insurance verification, and cash collections, ensuring a smooth first impression and precise service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accuracy, and excellent customer service across phone, in-person, and written interactions, with EPIC experience preferred. Join a mission-driven team at Henry Ford Health.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service via phone, in person, and in writing.
One year of patient admitting/registration experience preferred.
EPIC training/experience and familiarity with ICD-10 terminology preferred.

Mansioni

Follow procedures for patient registration, including face-to-face check-in, preregistration, and insurance eligibility confirmation.
Perform new patient registration and update existing patient and insurance information.
Respond to inquiries from callers and visitors, advocating on their behalf to ensure patient needs are met.
Manage cash collections and ensure accurate financial transactions.
Provide efficient CRM, instilling loyalty and anticipating patient needs.
