Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island in Mineola is seeking a Concierge - Part Time, Benefits Eligible. You will create a welcoming first impression, assist patients and visitors, and act as a liaison to other departments to ensure needs are met promptly and professionally.

You will provide wayfinding, answer questions at the lobby desk, and support patient relations while collaborating with staff to deliver outstanding customer service and a positive hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in Customer Service/Hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, families and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional welcome.
• Provides wayfinding and directs to appropriate departments using maps and information.
• Answers questions at lobby desk and routes calls to appropriate areas.
• Communicates hospital services and amenities and supports service recovery when needed.
• Collaborates with staff to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
