Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist for Specialty Clinics in Buffalo Grove. You will handle front-desk duties, scheduling, patient assistance, and payment collection to ensure high-quality patient service at designated sites.

The role requires strong customer service, basic medical terminology knowledge, and proficient computer skills. Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with rotating weekends and travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education completed.
• One year of customer service experience or interaction with the public.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at points of service and provide hospitable customer service.
• Register new patients and schedule appointments for providers and services; reschedule as needed.
• Collect co-pays and balances and arrange follow-up appointments.
• Answer phones, relays messages, and direct inquiries per protocol.
• Assist with medical records and basic clerical duties as needed.
• Maintain neat and professional work/waiting areas and support other departments as required.
