Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Office Receptionist for Specialty Clinics in Buffalo Grove. The role handles front-desk duties, scheduling, patient assistance, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure a high level of patient service.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with occasional weekends and travel to other locations. Prior customer service and basic medical terminology knowledge are preferred. Compensation is hourly, based on experience.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets incoming patients and visitors and directs to appropriate department.
• Receives and forwards calls and relays messages per protocol.
• Registers new patients and schedules appointments; reschedules as needed.
• Collects co-pays and balances; assists with follow-up appointments.
• Communicates with departments and patients to resolve information requests.
