Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Louisville, KY is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Coordinator) who is willing to train. This role serves as the first point of contact, managing patient check-in/out and coordinating with doctors and staff.

Responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, handling phone and email inquiries, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate records. Full-time hours with benefits and travel to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check must be favorable.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Excitement to learn and grow in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (external and internal); ensure prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Practice urgency with patients' time and Doctor's time/schedule.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Knowledge of common fees charged for visits and collect correct payments.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / count cash drawer.
• General office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager.
