Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively and supportively with people from all backgrounds.
• Maintain excellent patient interactions through clear communication and problem solving.
• Check-in patients at the front desk and scan documents into their chart.
• Assist patients with pre-registration forms and ensure signatures and records are complete.
• Explain costs to patients and collect fees, posting to patient charts.
• Record copays and balances and balance the cash drawer daily.
• Cover medical records and prior authorizations when needed.
• Communicate needs of patients to back-office staff and maintain confidentiality.
