Water's Edge Dermatology, a premier dermatology practice in the Southeast, is hiring a Front Desk Receptionist for the Sebring, FL location. The role involves greeting patients, registering demographics, scheduling, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of medical reception experience, high school diploma, and strong customer service and communication skills to deliver exceptional care and efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of medical reception experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients as they arrive for appointments.
• Register new patients and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Answer phone calls with professional etiquette and direct as needed.
• Inform clinical staff of patient arrivals and manage patient flow in the office.
• Keep reception area stocked with supplies and maintain equipment.
• Learn new products and maintain inventory of items.
• Provide a positive patient experience with courteous, efficient service.
• Verify patient benefits with approved health care programs.
• Process and forward medical records and referrals.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and work in a collaborative team environment.
