Water's Edge Dermatology is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in Lighthouse Point, FL. The role involves greeting patients, registering new patients, and managing appointments in a fast-paced dermatology office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of medical reception experience preferred.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive for their appointments.
• Register new patients and update demographics and insurance details.
• Answer the phone with a polite, professional manner and direct calls as needed.
• Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals and delays to maintain smooth flow.
• Maintain stocked office supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Learn new products and maintain inventory of items.
• Ensure a positive patient experience through excellent service.
• Verify patient health benefits with providers and insurers.
• Handle medical records and referrals for patient care.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with the team to complete office tasks.
