You will manage appointments, verify demographics and billing information, and help coordinate insurance needs in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Healthcare reception experience preferred.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Basic computer/data entry skills.
• Ability to verify insurance and prior authorizations when applicable.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, visitors, and vendors professionally.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Provide hospital telecommunications services (phones, paging, radios).
• Facilitate patient flow from referral to admission accurately.
• Obtain/verify demographic and financial information for registration and billing.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Assist with obtaining/tracking prior authorizations when applicable.
• Enter charges into hospital systems and maintain records.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support hospital mission and daily operations.
