Job summary

The Center for Specialized Surgery at Fort Myers is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to manage patient admissions and front-of-house operations. You will greet patients, collect information, and ensure smooth check-in processes for same-day and next-day cases.

Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, you will maintain patient confidentiality, input data into the EMR, handle payments, and coordinate with vendors while keeping the waiting area orderly and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient computer skills and office administrative experience.
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage phone calls, greet patients and family in a compassionate manner.
• Monitor main entrance and be first contact for visitors; maintain log.
• Prepare welcome packets and documentation for next day cases.
• Check-in patients, collect/scan documents and input data.
• Print forms, obtain signatures and arrange payments or plans.
• Provide admission instructions and document in EMR/EHR systems.
• Record information while managing vendor access and front desk area.
