Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners, a growing national MSO backed organization, seeks an entry-level Customer Service associate at its Middletown location. You will handle patient check-in/out, registrations, and explain office and billing policies to patients and their families.

The role requires a high school diploma, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask while delivering friendly service. Day shifts are available with some travel between company locations and competitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with check-in/check-out processes.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and provide reliable customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-in and check-out with accurate data entry.
• Complete full patient registration.
• Educate patients on office and billing policies and insurance participation.
• Collect and verify insurance details; confirm eligibility; process co-pays/balances at time of service.
• Submit daily payment collection reports.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage cancellations.
• Coordinate tests, labs, imaging, referrals; obtain insurance authorization.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients.
• Answer phones and direct calls to staff.
• Manage record requests with Medical Records.
• Open and close office as needed.
• Maintain professional environment with patients and colleagues.
• All other duties as assigned.
