Job summary

University of Missouri Health Care is seeking a unit greeter for the Integrated Medicine unit at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. The role is on-site and features 3 twelve-hour shifts per week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Base pay ranges from $15.00 to $23.64 per hour, plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential, and comprehensive benefits. The greeter will assist patients, visitors and staff, coordinate unit activities, and support safety and

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patients, visitors, and employees with courtesy and respect.
• Coordinate unit activities and monitor visitors on the unit to ensure safety.
• Assist in emergencies and codes and maintain an orderly desk routine.
• Provide administrative and clerical support including transcribing and processing physician orders and coordinating unit paperwork.
