Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patients, visitors, and employees with courtesy and respect.
• Provides administrative and clerical support for the unit, including transcribing and processing physician orders and data entry.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages for physicians, nurses, and staff; maintain unit communication and staff location.
• Maintain unit station, supplies, and filing; manage scheduling, admissions/discharges, census logs, and medical records.
