Zusammenfassung

Mercy is seeking a PRN dispatcher to answer and route calls, page physicians, and coordinate information for patients, staff and families. The role may also support offsite locations and safety/maintenance dispatch tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, solid English communication, and basic computer skills; telephone or customer service experience is beneficial for success on this team.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Telephone or customer service experience beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills; able to navigate multiple software systems.

Aufgaben

• Answer all incoming calls and connect calls appropriately.
• Page physicians and obtain long distance information as needed.
• Place calls for physicians, personnel and families and provide patient information.
• Receive class registration and physician referral calls.
• May serve as Dispatcher for Safety, Security, Maintenance and other offsite locations.
