Job summary

Mercy in Washington seeks a Patient Communications Dispatcher to handle a high-volume call center environment. Under general supervision, you will answer all incoming calls, connect calls, page physicians, obtain information, and assist families and staff with referrals and registrations.

The role requires clear English communication, basic computer and keyboarding skills, and the ability to navigate multiple software systems. PRN shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Telephone or customer service experience is beneficial.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and connect them as needed.
• Page physicians and place calls for physicians, personnel and families.
• Provide patient information and assist with class registrations and referrals.
• May serve as Dispatcher for Safety, Security, Maintenance, and other offsite locations.
