Job summary

Community Pharmacy, a Pharmacy Innovations company, seeks an experienced Licensed Pharmacy Technician for our Denton team. The role focuses on patient service and prescription processing with potential to assist in compounding with proper training.

You will support front-end customers in person and via portal, perform data entry, prescription checking, and order delivery/shipping, while upholding regulatory standards and company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to concerns and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Process, fill, and dispense prescriptions in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Maintain confidential records of all customer interactions and prescriptions.
• Identify and escalate complex issues to pharmacists or other departments.
• Support patient retention by ensuring a positive, helpful experience and following up on issues.
• Process payments, manage billing tasks, and assist with account updates and claims.
• Foster a compassionate, respectful, and efficient environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients through secure messaging to confirm orders and statuses.
