Job summary

Alive and Well Health in Bee Cave, TX seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a non-sterile compounding pharmacy serving Texas and other states. You will be cross-trained in Data Entry and the Compounding Lab to support pharmacy operations and team collaboration.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in prescription processing, and maintaining a clean, efficient lab environment while supporting daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Active Texas (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls regarding prescription updates, refills, and general inquiries
• Accurately enter and process prescription orders using pharmacy-specific software
• Assist patients in person, providing exceptional customer service and support at pickup
• Prepare and package medications for shipment in accordance with pharmacy and regulatory standards
• Prepare compounded medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Fill and dispense commercial (non‑compound) medications
• Manage inventory, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab and all pharmacy work areas
• Restock medications and supplies throughout the pharmacy
• Proactively assist with administrative and operational tasks to support the overall efficiency and success of the pharmacy
