Job summary

Kroger Richmond VA pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to fulfill prescriptions accurately, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulations. You will also help maintain records, manage inventory, and uphold Kroger’s standards in a busy retail setting.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care, safety, and service quality within our Store Operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain stock, inventory, pricing, and budgets per policy.
• Maintain records for legal compliance and required reports.
