Kroger is seeking a pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in our in-store pharmacy. You will fill prescriptions accurately, administer vaccines, counsel customers and ensure HIPAA compliance while applying all laws and company policies. You will also maintain inventory, train staff, and uphold a professional image in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy required.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company dress standards.
• Achieve knowledge of the trade area and competition.
• Create a positive department image through service and cooperation.
• Monitor stock, inventory, policies, and record keeping per policy.
• Maintain records and security on scheduled drugs.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools are used appropriately.
• Maintain documentation for legal compliance and reports.
• Keep work area clean and professional.
• Handle product returns per policy.
• Maintain equipment and keep staff trained.
• Ensure signage is correct and up-to-date.
• Pursue ongoing pharmacy knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with/without accommodations.
