Qualifications

• Six months of Billing Office experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
• Familiarity with EPIC systems and medical collection processes a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients and guarantors by phone and mail regarding outstanding balances, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Work with attorneys and third-party collection agencies to monitor account status and facilitate resolution.
• Communicate professionally to secure payment arrangements and resolve account concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities in accordance with policies and HIPAA.
