Hutchinson Health is seeking a Cook for the Nutrition Services department. You will prepare and serve meals for patients, residents, clients, physicians, and employees, while ensuring safety and sanitation of all food and equipment.

Work is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) with every other weekend rotation and rotating holidays. The role emphasizes adherence to schedules and maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness is required.
• Previous experience in food service is preferred.
• Accuracy in following written and verbal orders is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals to patients, residents, clients, visitors, physicians, and employees in a safe and attractive manner.
• Ensures that dishes and cooking equipment are cleaned according to standards.
• Maintains a sanitary condition of food and equipment.
• Checks in and puts away freight in a timely manner.
• Adheres to the standard working schedule.
• Maintains a clean and professional personal appearance.
• Displays a positive attitude toward the job.
• Maintains or exceeds standards for quality work.
• Follows safety practices as directed by the organization.
