Putnam Physical Therapy is hiring a Front Desk Administrator for a full-time outpatient role in Cookeville, TN. The position focuses on welcoming patients, processing check-ins/outs, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, and scheduling appointments within a private practice setting.

The role also involves processing referrals, coordinating care with therapy staff and agencies, and supporting productivity by distributing visits and liaising with other staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; some college or healthcare technical school a plus.
• 1–2 years working in a front office environment.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in/out patients in a friendly manner and collect co-pays.
• Verify insurance coverage and schedule patient appointments.
• Process new therapy referrals and coordinate start of care with staff and contracted agency.
• Ensure timely starts of care for new patients.
• Distribute visits to maintain staff productivity and liaise with non-therapy staff.
