Qualifications

• Current state-licensed Registered Nurse.
• CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience within past five years or new graduate within two years.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care using evidence-based practice to optimize safety and reduce errors.
• Follow the six medication rights and administer meds based on age and condition.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patient and family, document responses.
• Assess and update an individualized plan of care including discharge planning.
• Identify learning needs and involve patient/family in the care plan.
• Engage in quality improvement activities and participate in governance and projects.
